Bella Alberti developed a love of acting and singing at an early age. Her initial acting training began at the age of seven through creative performance classes at Children’s Fantasy Playhouse. By age nine, she appeared onstage in her first community theater musical as Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. Over the past five years, she has performed lead and principal supporting roles in over 20 productions with regional theater groups and children’s performance companies. Recently, she has studied musical theater performance with Eastern Shore Repertory Company, acting technique through Chez Studios, and voice, speech, and movement with Southeastern Teen Shakespeare Company. She has a passion for bringing unique characters to life onstage, ranging from Jade in Deployed and the Genie in Aladdin to Mustardseed in scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
She has also been fortunate to experience other facets of theater as well. Bella’s love of design led her to become the junior costume designer for ASAP Theatre Troupe’s production of Seussical, Jr. She learned about set design through Pensacola Opera’s Barber of Seville, and also worked as a stage manager for the ESRT production of Annie, Jr.
In 2011, Bella appeared in Discovery Girls Magazine as part of their “Meet the Girls of Alabama” piece. She received great feedback from girls across the U.S. & Canada who related to her profile in the magazine and to her featured video diary on the website. http://discoverygirls.com/magazine/issues/augustseptember-2011/meet-the-girls/isabella
